The many ways you can get involved
Special Events
All year round A chance for Change hosts special events with the goal of raising funds, promoting school programs, and celebrating the organizations noteworthy accomplishments. Volunteers can help staff with event planning and promotion, or day-of responsibilities such as setup, tear down and assisting during event as needed.
The estimated time commitment for this special event is 3-4 hours.
Marketing and
Public Relations
Members of this committee are professionals with a marketing, graphic design, or communications background. The marketing committee is responsible for the planning and oversight of the organization's marketing, communications, and public relations efforts.
The estimateed time commitment is 2-3 hours each quarter or as needed.
School Organization Committee
Members of the school organization committee help to find and establish connections with the schools we partner with both locally and overseas. They will lead communications and planning of our events, schedule dates and collect needed information for our Build A Backpack program to proceed. The estimated time commitment for this committee is 3-4 hours quarterly or as needed.
Ambassadors and Advocates
We are looking for ambassadors who know and love our mission. Focused on building relationships within our community and extending our mission, leading by example as change-makers. Our ambassadors should have an authentic story they can share both online and with their peers on the power in creating a chance for change. We look for individuals who inspire and encourage others to join our mission as we continue to grow.
